Soph Sav Releases Debut Single "Mangos" – A Slice of Sydney Summer

Emerging indie-pop artist and OCA student, Soph Sav today releases her debut single, "Mangos," a vibrant and nostalgic ode to the quintessential Sydney summer experience.

Soph Sav, known for her authentic and energetic style reminiscent of G-Flip, Alex the Astronaut, and Courtney Barnett, delivers a catchy and relatable track that captures the carefree spirit of the season.

"I wrote 'Mangos' during a sweltering Sydney summer," says Sav. "It's about capturing those moments – midnight swims, the hum of cicadas, eating mangos over the kitchen sink. If you've ever spent a summer in Sydney, you'll know exactly what I mean."

The song, originally titled "Sydney Summer," found its name after a serendipitous encounter at an open mic night. "Someone came up to me and said, 'Where can I hear that Mangos song? I love it!'" Sav recalls. "That's when it hit me – that was the perfect title."

"Mangos" has already resonated with audiences of all ages, proving its timeless appeal. Sav hopes the song will become a singalong anthem for road trips and summer adventures for years to come.

"Mangos" is now available on all major streaming platforms.
