OUR student wellbeing SERVICES
We offer two free-of-charge specialised services to all Oxford Creative Academy Students.
1. STUDENT COUNSELLING
This is a free and confidential online support service for students to promote mental health & wellbeing. For those seeking to enhance their study experience or wanting to work through other personal concerns.

When you study with Oxford Creative Academy, you’ll be able to access our free student wellbeing counselling service and our student wellbeing initiative.
These services provide a safe and confidential space to discuss your concerns related to academic stress, personal issues, or mental health challenges. Our services are led by our in house counsellor - Mia Marcus Clark, who can offer guidance, coping strategies, and a listening ear to help you navigate the various pressures and challenges you may face during your academic journey.
We believe in making these services accessible without cost to prioritise our students' overall wellbeing, ensuring that you have the necessary support to thrive academically and personally.
2. STUDENT WELLBEING INITIATIVE
At Oxford Creative Academy, we wholeheartedly embrace diversity and inclusivity, ensuring that every student, regardless of their background or needs, is provided with a supportive and accessible learning environment. We’ll work with you to create a plan if you need learning adjustments as a result of disability, a mental or physical health condition, diagnosis of learning difficulties or other circumstances.

A little about me
My extensive 18-year background in the creative and music industries has provided me with a deep understanding of the intricacies within these fields. Now, as a certified practicing counsellor and an active member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), I’m dedicated to offering well-being support to students pursuing studies within these industries. I’m deeply passionate about supporting people’s wellbeing, adopt a calm and caring approach, am trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and firmly advocate for the idea that everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves authentically, free from the fear of judgement.
